Lizzy hates socks. And pants.
I've learned to choose my battles.
Knowing it was chilly out this morning, and knowing we'd be outside for several hours between football and the Buddy Walk, I opted to make her wear pants and pack the socks.
Everyone at the football game commented on the fact that Lizzy didn't have socks on. I told them we're working toward cold weather clothes, one item at a time.
Halfway through the game, Lizzy told me her feet were cold.
Thankfully, I had brought a pair of socks along.
As I helped her put them on, she was surprised at how comfortable they were:
"Wow! These feel great. My might want to wear these everyday!"
