As we were driving through a road construction zone the other day, Lizzy noticed the heavy equipment moving dirt.
Lizzy: "Mom, they're moving dirt!"
Me: "Yep. I wonder what they're doing."
Lizzy: "Mom, they're moving dirt to vuild a dike for the flood."
At this point, I realized my four year old really does hear everything, and as a result, knows way too much about floods and flood protection.
