Waffle Cone Wednesday

Enjoying every bite of Waffle Cone Wednesday!
Today is Waffle Cone Wednesday.

On Waffle Cone Wednesdays, the little girls and I make a trip to the north side of town, for 99-cent waffle cones at TCBY. It's a tradition we started in the summer, you know, when it's actually good ice-cream eating weather.

I have no desire to eat ice cream (excuse me, frozen yogurt) when it's snowing out, like it is today. But that didn't phase my Lizzy.

When I got to daycare to pick her up today, she ran to me, gave me a big hug and a smile.

Lizzy: "My love you mom."
Me: "My love you too."
Lizzy: "What day is it?"
Me: "It's Waffle Cone Wednesday!"
Lizzy: "Yay! Let's go!"

She paid... with change she collected from the van. And she chose her own flavor...today it was raspberry and white chocolate. She teased Morgan with it the whole way home. Poor Morgan will soon have to get her own Waffle Cone Wednesday I guess.
