Lizzy and I are planning to fingerpaint this afternoon. I was explaining the fingerpainting rules to her. The rules include we need to wait until Morgan is napping, we need to put a sheet down on the floor to protect the carpet and a big piece of cardboard on the table, and Lizzy needs to wear a paint shirt. She agreed with all of them, except for the paint shirt. I explained how the paint shirt will protect her beautiful dress and tutu (yes, she's wearing a tutu again). She was still refusing to wear the paint shirt so I told her I guess we won't fingerpaint today. That was the clincher. She exclaimed "Wait! My have an idea... my was just teasing you! My wear a paint shirt.".
Mom always wins.
